Greetings all and welcome to my world. My name is Bruce Mayhill and I am the owner, lead photographer, and head dishwasher of Mayhill Photo. Here you will be able to get a chance to see photos from recent weddings and portrait sessions as well as see what sort of ridiculous things I am up to in my personal life.

I recently moved to Concord, NC (just outside of Charlotte) from Los Angeles, CA. My lungs are still getting used to the fresh air while my wife is still getting used to the possibility of snow! I am primarily a wedding photographer and my recipe for great wedding photography is a carefully crafted formula consisting of the following: a documentary approach, a touch of traditionalism (so as to appease Grandma!), and fashion shoot attitude. This is all touched off with a mild-spicy dash of insanity. Fasten your seatbelt, this is not going to be a boring ride!

Greetings from Charleston...

Hey everyone!

I am in Charleston, SC right now for a three day workshop that is being conducted by Shane Snider. Yesterday was the first day and it was great. Lots of great discussion on wedding photography in general. Today, we will actually be shooting at a couple of awesome locations. I hope the sun comes out a bit this afternoon!

I will post some photos from today shoot this evening (in theory!).
